When I first read about a casino being built in Pittsburgh I was skeptical it would be done well. So many casinos are cheap looking tent cities.

The Rivers Casino is in fact one of the nicest casinos I've visited in the US...including Las Vegas. They really did a nice job with the layout, the decor and the facilities. Leaving the gambling aside for the moment and focusing on the bars, The RC has several to choose from.

The Wheelhouse on the main floor is great place to meet after work or on the weekend. They have good food, excellent service, good specials, plenty of TV's for sports fans and a full assortment of liquors. On weekends they typically have live music on the stage.

Any time you like you can take your drink and venture out onto the gaming floor. It's an easy place to go to with a group or just the two of you. They have complimentary valet parking if you sign up for a club card (5mins).

Within the casino they have several other bars and restaurants. All in all, Pittsburgh's casino is first class and a great addition to the city's entertainment options...Only one caveat....it is smoking permitted!
