THIS BAR IS OPEN! D'vine Bar & Grille is under new management and has reopened as DIVE Bar & Grille. It has only been open since the weekend before Christmas. Most people don't notice the slight, however clever, change to the old sign, and unfortunately its hurting business. I was one of a few customers there on a Tuesday night, but I was still impressed. The owner came up and shook my hand the minute I sat down at the bar. He was more than eager to discuss his plans for the bar and to get my opinion on necessary changes from D'vine. If you are expecting a wine bar, don't. The new owners are focusing on their menu, and their beers. Wine is still available and great happy hour specials on cocktails. The interior is the same, but to be honest, I am going back for the food. I can't stress enough how much effort they have put into the new menu. They offer a lot of great pub grub with innovative names and ideas, and a few more upscale dishes for those expecting the old menu. Obviously this is not a TRUE dive bar, the elegant interior and excellent menu/beer choices make it anything but. I hope you give this place and the new owners a chance. It is a hard location, but a great establishment, so please give this place some business!

LOL at the fact that they renamed it something that they just had to move the letters around on the sign. Reminds me of the How Lee Chinese restaurant in Squirrel Hill.

Thank you, Samantha Brooke, for the feedback!

Inspired by local area corner bars, the concept for Dive Bar & Grille was channeled from the comfort and familiarity of a neighborhood gathering place...yet we hope to prove that Dive is not your typical watering hole.

We are excited to say that we are now open and under new ownership...and that we have made many new changes, signage included :)
