Well I've hit a lot of bars up and down Carson over the years, and finally Barry's turn came up.
I was there on a Saturday night, and my general impressions were the following.
Crowd tended to be younger, at least when I was there, place was fairly crowded, but not as bad as some of the worst offenders in this department.
The front of the bar is, well, a large rectangular bar taking up most of the room, with the back of the building more open.
The bar basically was nothing spectacular, but the $1 bottle specials every night of the week, certainly makes this a decent choice to drink cheap.
The ratio of sausage to bajingos significantly favored the sausage side of the isle far more than the bajingos side.... So I guess depending on which gender or orientation you are this could be a good or a bad thing, for me, I viewed it as a generally bad thing.
The service was decent, even though the place was crowded, getting into the bar and getting waited on was not bad at all compared to some places along Carson on a Saturday night.
All in all, there are definitely worse places than Barry's along Carson.
