D's has a very casual atmosphere, with dining room seating in one half and a distinctly separated bar area in the other. On a Friday night the entire place was fairly crowded and somewhat difficult to get around, although I did find myself there during a bar crawl, which may have been partly to blame for the crowding. There was a mix of ages in the bar, with the average age tending toward an older clientele. The bartenders and servers really hustle and the service is prompt; the drink prices are also reasonable. The music was not overwhelmingly loud, but neither was it overwhelmingly interesting. Though I did not have the opportunity to sample the food, it did smell pretty fantastic! Overall, I would classify D's a laid-back, family-friendly hangout rather than an energetic night-spot for a younger crowd. It could be a great fit for you, it just depends on what you're looking for!
