When I was at the Hard Rock Cafe on a Thursday evening for a country music concert, they had IC Light specials running ($5 big cans). Great atmosphere for bands, however, the bar could be set in a better spot in the restaurant to prevent cramming. Very nice outdoor patio to enjoy the view of the river. I would rate the food a 7/10, service 8/10, atmosphere 10/10. I would come back.

For a "chain" restaurant and venue, I'm surprised how much I like seeing Pittsburgh's live music here. The food isn't the best ever, but it's totally fine for what it is, and the space is comfortable. They have lots of interesting out of town bands too. I'm going again this week to see the Canadian band Beyond the Sun, and am looking forward to it.

I've never really gone out here, but its great for dinner! They have a wide variety and good prices. We have eaten here with a group of 20-25 people the past 2 summers for our annual "Parents Bar Crawl" and been able to make these reservations about 2 weeks ahead of time with no problems at all. Great service and food!

If it wasn't for the overpriced everything I'd come here a lot more. Overall its a cool place, good staff, good food, cold beer. I recommend coming down for Battle of the Bands. Great energy from both the crowd and the mc. Just get there early. Seats go QUICK.

Great food and live music, I highly recommend this bar to drink and see bands at. We recently played at this bar and had a real good turn out. Pittsburgh fans are always supportive and nice. We will definitely be back again.

This place has been there for years & I've gone probably once a year or so, & I'm still impressed! The food & service are always excellent. Every employee I've ever encountered has been very friendly & interesting. The prices are a little high, but if you go during Happy Hours, you'll save a lot on alcohol.

If you've been to a Hard Rock anywhere, you will pretty much know what to expect from the Pittsburgh Hard Rock, although Pittsburgh's is the smallest one I've been to.

I have always loved the Hard Rock. I'm not sure why. Maybe it's just the idea of beer, food, and loud music that attracts me? Anyway, I've been to the Pittsburgh Hard Rock a few times now, and I've been happy with the food, the music has always been great, and the service is wonderful. My one complaint is the price. The food is not outrageous, but the beer prices just seemed ridiculous. The one night I think our bill for four people was around $75, and we each only had two or three beers. Ok, granted, they were Sam Adams, they were each 22 oz, and we got to keep the glasses, but it still seemed steep to me. Maybe I just drink at home too often?

Regardless, I will probably still be back. I like the food, the bands I saw sounded great, and there's just something about the words "Hard Rock" oo/ I'll just make sure I limit myself to one beer next time.

I’ve gone to Hard Rock Café a few times in the past and the food has been delicious, but nothing great. The menu is very general and it’s difficult to have a conversation with anyone. In fact, I had a hard time hearing the waitress. I do understand that this Pittsburgh “Hard Rock” café.. but the music doesn’t have to be so loud that you cannot even talk to someone who is inches away from you. The food/drinks are VERY expensive. I think I paid $2.75 for an ice tea!!
