Well, the place from the outside didn't look like much, but it was dark when I got there so maybe it looks better in the daylight. The inside though was nice enough.
Crowd was mostly professionals 30s and 40s, I'm assuming mostly from the condos and townhomes that are close to the place, when I was in there on a Wed. night and they had a good steady crowd for weeknight.
The beer selection seemed pretty wide given what they had on display, but the prices were definately on the higher end. $3.75 for large yuengling drafts on a wed night is a bit over the top if you asked me (and no that didn't include the county drink tax).
Couple of pool tables, and tvs etc.
I'd say if you are a single professional in the area looking to meet some members of the opposite sex this probably wouldn't be a bad place to cast your bait. I'd agree its not the most welcoming bar if you don't show up in at least business casual (My bro and I stopped in after racquetball and clearly weren't up to the usual dress of the place).
So, I'd say decent enough bar, but higher end of price and definately not the younger crowd, which isn't a bad thing in my book. Definately a smoking establishment, and frankly saw more ashes being flicked on the floor by its patrons than in the ashtrays while we were there.
It is what it is, for what it is its not bad, but nothing spectacular.
